Exploring Ink

Explore and experiment with the wonderful medium of ink. Using a variety of methods to make the most of the wide range of inks available. Working mainly on landscapes and seascapes, discover ways to enliven your painting skills through its application to wet and dry paper.

Your tutor, Margaret Micklewright, has used inks as her main painting medium for over 20 years and is still learning about it! She is an experienced tutor and enjoys revealing many of the attributes ink provides.

Materials are provided. Please bring non-natural brushes, some inspirational material, paper towel, deep dish palette, or bun tin/cake container.
